TokenScout is a free, automated token security checker. Paste any ERC-20, BEP-20, or compatible contract address and receive an instant risk report — no signup, no wallet connection, no fees.
We aggregate data from industry-leading security APIs (GoPlus Security, DexScreener, and Honeypot.is) to give you a fast, non-technical summary of the most common warning signs found in scam tokens and rug pulls.
What do we check?
- Contract Verification — Is the source code publicly visible on the blockchain? Unverified contracts are a major red flag.
- Liquidity Status — Is the trading liquidity locked or burned? Unlocked liquidity means developers can drain the pool at any time (rug pull).
- Honeypot Detection — Can you actually sell this token? Some malicious contracts allow buying but block all sells.
- Ownership Distribution — Does any single wallet hold an outsized percentage? High concentration creates manipulation risk.
- Token Age — Very recently deployed tokens carry statistically higher risk of abandonment or exit scams.

Is this financial advice?
No. TokenScout is an informational tool only. A passing score does not guarantee a token is safe or profitable, and a failing score does not guarantee it is a scam. Always do your own research and never invest more than you can afford to lose.
How accurate are the results?
Results are as accurate as the underlying data sources allow. Some indicators may show "Unknown" if data is unavailable. Sophisticated scams may pass automated checks — TokenScout is a first filter, not a final audit.
How often is the data refreshed?
Scan results are cached for 60 minutes to keep the service fast and reduce API load. After 60 minutes, a new scan fetches fresh data from all providers.
Do you store my wallet address or personal data?
